FAQ LIST
FAQ for Needle Tube Grinding Machine
1. Product Selection
Q1: What types and specifications of needle tubes can your grinding machines adapt to?
A1: It is suitable for medical-grade stainless steel capillary tubes (304/316L) and glass micro-needles.
Applicable tube diameter: 0.1–2mm, tube length: 5–200mm. Needle tip angle is adjustable from 20°to 90°, supporting grinding of beveled, flat and multi-facet tips.
Q2: What is the machining accuracy? Is it qualified for medical use?
A2: The machining tolerance reaches ± 0.001mm, and surface roughness Ra ≤0.1μm. The machines comply with ISO 13485 and domestic medical YY standards, ideal for manufacturing injection needles, puncture needles and micro medical needles.
Q3: What are the automation levels? Do you have manual and CNC models?
A3: Manual models feature fine-tuning for feed and angle, fit for small-batch production and R&D. CNC models adopt CNC programming with automatic feeding, grinding and unloading, capable of mass production over 100,000 pieces per day.
Q4: How to select machines for beveled, three-facet and frosted needle tips?
A4: Single-axis grinding machines are recommended for beveled needles with high efficiency. 4-axis/5-axis CNC machines are for three-facet and multi-facet needles to ensure precise angles. Integrated water grinding & polishing machines are used for frosted and blunt needles to eliminate burrs.
2. Technical Parameters
Q5: What are the rotating speed, power and voltage of the machine?
A5: Rotating speed: 1600–10000rpm (adjustable). Power: 0.75–2.2kW. Voltage: 220V/380V (50/60Hz), customized voltage is available.
Q6: Is microscope or testing equipment required as accessories?
A6: High-definition microscopes with LED cold light sources are standard equipped. Optional accessories include image measuring instruments, roughness testers and coaxiality detectors for full inspection of needle tip quality.
3. Operation & Troubleshooting
Q7: How to solve burrs, rough surface and easy breakage of needle tips?
A7: For burrs: Replace with fine-grain grinding wheels (#800–#1200), reduce feeding speed and turn on water cooling. For rough surface: Dress or replace worn grinding wheels, and check fixture coaxiality. For breakage: Increase grinding angle, lower rotating speed and reduce grinding allowance.
Q8: How to deal with eccentric needle tips and inaccurate grinding angles?
A8: Recalibrate fixture coaxiality (tolerance≤0.002mm). Inspect and replace worn spindle bearings, and fasten spindle nuts. Reset angle origin if CNC system has parameter deviation.
Q9: What causes abnormal noise, severe vibration and overheating?
A9: Abnormal noise: Unbalanced grinding wheel or damaged bearings. Severe vibration: Unlevel machine base or loose fixtures. Overheating: Insufficient coolant or over-tightened grinding wheel. Please adjust accordingly.
Q10: What is the daily maintenance schedule?
A10: Daily: Clean grinding wheels and fixtures, check coolant level and remove metal scraps. Weekly: Calibrate fixture coaxiality, inspect spindle runout and tighten all screws. Monthly: Replace coolant, lubricate guide rails and bearings, and check motor insulation.
4. Customization & After-sales Service
Q11: Can you customize machines for non-standard specifications?
A11: Yes. We support customization for special angles (15°–120°), extra-long or ultra-fine needle tubes, as well as multi-station and fully automatic production lines. We will confirm details with CAD drawings and sample tests.
Q12: What is the lead time and payment term?
A12: Custom machines: 105 working days. Payment: 50% deposit, 50% balance before delivery. Bank T/T transfer and L/C are acceptable.
Q13: What about installation, commissioning, training and after-sales support?
A13: Free on-site installation and commissioning for domestic clients; remote guidance for overseas clients. Free operation and maintenance training with operation manuals and video tutorials. The whole machine enjoys 1-year warranty. We provide 24-hour technical response and 48-hour on-site service domestically.
Q14: What are your core advantages compared with peers?
A14: Stable micron-level precision with consistent quality in mass production. Equipped with imported spindles and servo motors for long service life (over 10 years). Rich experience in non-standard customization for medical needle production. Complete after-sales system with round-the-clock technical support.
5. Industry & Application
Q15: What industries and products are your machines applied to?
A15: Medical industry: Injection needles, blood collection needles, puncture needles and micro-injection needles. Laboratory: Glass micro-needles, electrode needles and pipette tips. Industrial field: Precision probes, nozzles and chamfering of tiny pipes.
